Our story
Miski Thani was born from a commitment to value and a dedication to the development of Ecuador, by delivering high-quality and competitive products in the international market. Founded by Edgar Burbano García, Miski Thani is the result of a deep reflection on the living conditions of small cacao and coffee producers. Inspired by the flavors of his childhood and moved by the difficulties of these communities, Edgar decided to create an initiative that not only offered high-quality products but also contributed to improving their living conditions.
Edgar's childhood memories are marked by the aroma of his grandmother's freshly brewed coffee and the unbeatable flavor of the peanut butter chocolate bar prepared by his mother. These experiences awakened in him a passion for natural products and a deep respect for the land. Miski Thani seeks to revive ancestral traditions of cacao and coffee cultivation, transforming them into exceptional products that delight discerning palates.
Miski Thani is based on the principles of sustainability and fair trade. We work directly with producers, guaranteeing fair prices and dignified working conditions. Additionally, we invest in research and development to improve production processes and reduce our environmental impact. Our mission is to generate better conditions for the entire value chain, from farmers to consumers.
